I'm assuming PDC is about the same as Speed Ventures, just don't have a timer and it won't be considered racing? It'll be considered a driving school?

Of course u understeered off u were driving an evo.

Sorry about the crash. The only advice I can add is that when you find you're understeering off, unwind the steering wheel and brake in a straight line, you can kill a lot of speed before running into anything.

you didn't do it wrong at all....

you had an accident in a controlled environment. WAY BETTER than doing it on a street...which is why track days exist.

I steered it back on the track, but the second the passenger side front wheel caught it spun me 90 degrees and slammed me into the concrete barrier.
You're now painfully aware of this, but for other peoples' benefit: don't rush to get back onto the track after an off. It's really easy to lose control getting back onto the track, especially if you're still moving at a decent clip. (I also know from personal experience, having stuffed one of Skip Barber's school cars into a wall at Laguna Seca getting back on in a hurry after an off.)

The best way to reenter the track is as straight as possible, with minimal steering and throttle input. And if you're carrying a lot of mud with you, stay off of the racing line.

Yeah, i did, but i tried to save it. I definitely drove it off the track in a straight line. The issue with infineon (especially at turn 10)is there is just so little run-off room. Once I saw the wall fast approaching I tried to get back on the track. I was successful doing a little dirt drifting, but getting back on the pavement didn't have the desired effect!

In retrospect I was probably screwed the whole time. Once I got in the dirt just braking hard once I was straight would of probably been best, but it happened fast. I probably left the track at 90 or so and was in the wall a couple hundred yards later...couldn't of taken long.

I didn't mean to 'rush' back on, but that wall on the exit of ten is very intimidating rushing up to kill you on your left as you bounce through the dirt! I was trying to get back on straight, but it happened too fast. To be honest I can't remember which way the wheel was turning. it must of been point towards the wall some what. I was trying to get it straight. I kind of ran out time i think.

yeah it doesn't take long in T10. The corner does eat a lot of cars.

The primary problem is obviously your extremely small pictures.

On a serious note, sorry about your car and glad you're ok. So does this mean you're not going to track the Evo any more or just roll the dice with it?
