Default Interesting Solution for upper arm mounts

Doing some looking around, I found that Spoon had a solution for the front upper arm mount issue. Too bad it is currently illegal by the racing bodies.

Interesting...I wonder what they will cost. And I wonder if they would be that much better than simply welding a flanged buttress to justify the extra cost.

Seems this won't do anything to help prevent the bracket welds from cracking as usual.

Also, is this cracking only with the very early models (maybe first year only)? I haven't heard of a failure in even the newer AP1's.

AP2's have countermeasure gussets but I don't recall seeing those on a 2002 car.

I think it will prevent the a-arm bracket form cracking. Its welded on the a-arm bracket and also around the gazette / onto the body as well to distribute the load.

AP2s have a horizontal support built in to the arm but its a small piece.
