Default inverted outer tie rods?

i figured i'd post this question in the racing forum, since you guys seem to know the most about suspension tuning.

a friend of mine is lowered in his rsx and has been thinking about getting some inverted tie rods. (he's got mean bump steer)
does anyone here have experience with them or any knowledge on whether or not they are beneficial/detrimental to steering/handling?

Default

get the 0857 bracket that raises the center mounting point of the tie rods instead of lowering the sides with the inverted. the inverted will develop play etc.
