i think he means you can drive the car onto 2 planks of wood, allowing you to get the jack underneath from the front to the central jacking point.

I have seen a number of cars with rocker panel damage from jacking it in the wrong spot. So it can damage the car.

I can get both the front and rear off the ground using the front jack point too.

Hey as long as were on the jacking note...anyone know of a cheap jack with lowclearance level?

got one at Costco for $100, it has held up well through a lot of use. it's also low enough for very low cars.

hmmm, i doubt it has a name brand, is a chinese costco item!

they only have one though - and it is subject to their lifetime warranty
