Jacking car from side
yeah if you don't have a rear sway bar sometimes you can't get the rear enuf off the ground.
also I jack in the middle (on both of my s2ks) because you can then eaisly use the jack points for jack stands.

I have used the middle for years. Reason is I feel that it puts less stress/twisting torque on the car than when the whole side is lifted from the front or rear jack point.
Anyway, I don't think you are going to do any structural damage to a car as stiffly put together as the S2000 no matter whether you jack it from the specified jack point or a point a foot or so behind there.
As for the rear roll bar thing, I guess that might be true.

My son does it with his Evo too ... look jack stands in hand:
BTW ... look what the great pumpkin brought me for Halloween!

I don't have tires yet. Are you in urgent need for an upcoming event? I don't need mine until next season.
Let me know if you need 'em. Keep in mind though mine are 18x10s all setup for the rear, so it requires a one inch spacer up front. I have the spacers from John as well ... but you'd need extended studs to run mine.

18x10....1inch spacer!!!!
no I don't need them, just want to make sure they fit right for you before I order a set. I still have my 1pc wheels. I'll post pics of the broken wheel. I did 10 laps at laguna on it to make sure I didn't lose 2nd place for ITE.
Every spoke is broken but it stayed together
And Takara, yes, I've been running 18x9 and 18x10 for about 4 years now and I wasn't the first.

wait john didn't give you spacers with lugs? You might want to order a set of the h&R spacers then. at 1" I'd rather the spacer be bolted directly to the hub then the wheel bolted to the spacer.
