Default Koni yellow and GC

Hi, I am planning to order ground control And need to know what spring rates to use for my needs. My car is dd and I plan to track it few time a year, so far my setup is non stag with 255 all round and saner fsb. Also would 12k front, 10k rear be a good choice?

Thanks

On the stock valving people say these shocks are good up to around 500lbs.
I have run 600/500lbs springs for a short period of time and they worked ok.
I'd go around 500/500 or 550/500 with that swaybar - it depends what balance you want.

And hit me up if you want to buy a ground control set with 500 and 550 lb. springs (Have Koni's too, but only 3, one is broken)

Will it be better to have the ground control top hats with it?

You are going to want the GC top hats as the Koni's are stock length and you are going to need the extra bump travel when you lower it.

When I bought my Koni's they would not sell me anything over 500. I was told anything heavier would wreck the shock? I went with 400/450 and it's fine.

I have this set-up also. OTS Konis with 500F/450R spring rates... its a good entry level set-up for autocross. But ideally you'd want more spring...

You can put more spring on there, people do it. But it trashes the shocks quickly and leaves you vastly under-damped.
