krank vent

everyone with krank vents should have the chirping noise, assuming they are working...

Yep. My timing chain cover would squeal around the crank too. It drove me crazy until I pulled the vent off the intake. I also didn't like the idea of the vacuum wearing the crank seal out.

I had the catch can installed and STILL smoked up the track at turn 13 Sebring. The mechanic that installed the can routed the vent line to the catch can then back to the intake where it normally connected. Only thing i can figure is it pulls directly thru the can more like a mist then a fluid.

Yup.......when it overflows it just goes back into the intake.....And I found that it happens during braking and turning either way.

Once I put on the krankvents and I goiing to go without the catch can.....as I had less smoke without it. The can is making things worse at times. Not to mention having to empty the thing every session.

But there is very little in the catch can. It didn't fill/overflow just went right thru. I guess as a vapor?
