Default Kw v3 setup

I have read post about setting the ride height to 3.75" ground to jacking points but that drops the car lower then the instalation instructions recomended 13.2' rear wheel center of hub to fender well. Front 12.6" looks good.
Sent and email to Billy j but no response yet. Anybody comment on recomended ride height?

This does not answer the OP's question.

Corner balancing will effect ride height but is independent of it. In other words you can corner balance the car perfectly at different ride heights. Each corner will be slightly different but you could set the car up around 3", 5" or what ever you want.

On the V3's, If you look at the installation instructions you will find the recommended range of adjustment from the center of the lower coilover mounting hole to the bottom of the spring.
Front:
335 mm to 360 mm
Rear
215 mm to 240 mm

You will find that if you set the car up on level ground with 3.75 from the ground to the jacking point all around you will be within these measurements.

You can tune the handling of the car by slightly changing the ride height of the rear relative to the front. Just as rear toe will effect what the rear end does in a turn so will the setting the rear higher or lower relative to the front.

You should set the ride height where you want it as you are corner weighing the car and then have it aligned.

Thanks that was helpful. I was selling the car but with no serious offers have since changed my mind and will keep it. Gotta put it back together. When i checked the ride height the rear jack points were 4.5" front 3.75. Not sure how i got it so far off so starting over.
Anybody in the Daytona Orlando area recomended to do the corner balance?

Set your ride heights per the instruction manual (can be downloaded from KWautomotive.com). At the minimum reccomended ride height, it should be around 3.75". also if you set them at the given specs and even Right to Left, your corner balance should be pretty close. Probably not exactly 50% but more than acceptable for street or track use. Of course, corner balance it if you can.

***Make sure you do not crank one side over 0.5" higher than any other side. Preferably have the spring perches less than 0.25" difference from Right to Left if you can.
