Default KW Variant 2 Coilover Questions

Hi,

I was on the vividracing website and I noticed the KW Variant 2 coilovers. I was wondering if they are a good coilover for the price?

My intention is to track the car and I am looking for a good coilover with good damping to absorb bumps so that I can hold my lines. Any help and information regarding these coilovers is greatly appreciated.

I recently installed a set of V3's. The price is close enough between the V2's and V3's most opt for the double adjustable V3's. No on track review as of yet, But I like them for street use so far eith KW's reccomended dampening settings. Re aligning the car is must after installing, as my car handled worse on the drive to the shop for the alignment than it did on a properly aligned stock suspension.

The KW's have the best reputation for being a cost effective and functional track suspension. You'll be spending 5K plus to get something better.

BTW, Go fast labs had a GB last moth that beat everyone's advertised price, and they are the forum sponsor.

Oh well,

So you like yours for the street also? How easy are they to adjust to varying conditions?

We still sell them cheaper than anyone else to S2KI Gold members

They aren't any harder to adjust than any other coilover to me. You have limited access to the top adjuster on the left rear shock, but it's the same with any S2k. Install the shock with the adjuster knob on and leave it there. The adjusters at the bottom of the shock are easy to reach under the car.

I don't know where the V2's adjuster is, probably different on the V2's

My car is on 225/255 18's, so it rides harsher than most. It's not unbareable.
