Numbers did not follow what I had. Here is my calculations. I drew a line between what I think are the gear matchups. In the lower gears the Porsche has a significant advantage, but as the speeds and gears increase it is erased.

Here is a neat program that I put all the data into. Takes into account gearing, HP, etc...

I failed to notice the dyno you provided Blackey was listed as "flywheel hp". Since it was a dynopack, I figured it was the straight hub values - were they multiplied up to estimate flywheel hp? If so, then they are probably about 15% high over what I would normally use to build a graph - if they are straight hub values, then they are probably about 5% high.

Mark, this is simply an error of semantics on behalf of the dyno manufacturer.

The number represents the power the dyno is measuring, which as Bill stated is at the hubs. So there are further losses due to tire fluctuations etc. that are not accounted for.

The easiest way to settle the delta between where you measure your numbers and where we measure ours, is to run both cars on both dynos. I can make arrangements to bring Ry's car to Dyno Spot Racing as they are a reputable Dyno Jet facility, one that you are probably familiar with...

There is a reputable Dynapack facility at Sears Point. We will be there Oct 31st, and you are of course cordially invited to attend at $295 for the day. Invite a few friends if you so inclined.

Rylan will be dressed as a pirate and will attempt to drive Sears Point with an eye patch.
Argghhhh!

That was so cool! thanks for posting it. I forgot how much it was raining!
Nice job. wasnt Bobcat a nut in the wet???
It was my one chance to try "rains" and I couldnt get them on in time so I had to run on the slicks . I wonder what it would have been like.

It was something idiotic like 0.2-0.3dB. I wonder how things would change if we sent a few strippers there to keep them occupied

We'll just send James next time
