I'm thinking that, even if this hulk were in Seattle, this isn't the "car" to use for building a dedicated track car.

If it were close to me I might be interested. But I would switch all my parts over.

I have been considering stripping mine to get it dipped and welded. a chassis like that (assuming the rust isn't very deep) would be great for my needs.

why would you want to even thing to re-use that..

the fire was hot enough to evapourate the aluminium...so at the very least 1200degF.
