Default Drag racing Trans setup

Long story short,

I'm building the car for full interior drag car.

Recently blew something on the Trans interNally af the track.

Looking for the easiest drag solution out there.

Ppg and twin are nice but really are a pretty penny.

Is a v160 really worth it?

T56 worth the trouble of cutting the housing?

Th400 worth the trouble of going automatic? (Strongly leaning in this direction so far- seems quite cost effective and strong for the price. Unsure of the long term maintaince though)

Looking for the easiest cost effective solution in the long run.

Currently making 550hp. Shooting to hit 650-700 to the wheel Eventually.

Rear end is 8.8.

Thanks!

Pure drag care best solution may be the G-Force GSR 4 Speed.

It's not an integra GSR trans if that's what you are thinking lol. its a race transmission. Kings performance has run it for some time on their s2000's, and good to see there is some support in this area for the s2000 now.

It's a four speed H pattern clutch assisted trans from gforce.

I run the gforce clutchless five speed vgate trans. But vgate on the street wouldn't be fun.

Ill contact kings performance tomorrow about their 4 speed they are using.
