FYI,
Kaaz has a new diff out call the super q. It is touted as having even higher strength, no break in, and is OEM quiet.
I have not seen one yet, but Kaaz is pretty well respected.

Dude I don't know if you noticed, but he's already in SM2.

Thanks again for the inputs on autocross diffs. Many good responses on this thread and offline. Looking like OS Giken 1.5 will be the one for me this time around. I had no probs with the Cusco RS 1.5 way at 100% lock last time (a little crunchy when cold, but I don't mind a little "charm" if it goes away when warm). I'll definitely post my observations once PuddyMod Racing gets my diff to me with the OSG in it.

Specifically, I think you mean the T-2R. It's the R version that is preloaded to avoid the lifted wheel issues. The S2000 already has a type T-2. http://www.torsen.com/files/Torsen%2...on%20Chart.pdf
But is there a T-2R that drops into the S2000? From Torsen: "The current applications for the TORSEN T-2R include the Ford 8.8 inch axle, the GM 8.5 inch axle, and the GM 7.6 inch axle."

True dat. BSP = land of the Diamond Star Maulers; no way I'd be competitive there. $M2 is fun on a local level but I won't be closing in on Erik and Andy's FD RX7s until I get a lot more seat time and really get the car dialed. Guy's gotta have goals, right?

You could always WPC treat any metal LSD plates to reduce/eliminate any chattering.

Grassroots Motorsports tested diffs in a SCCA T3 race car on a tight autocross like track in the latest issue and found the OS Giken as their favorite.

The OS gikken was fastest, but it was only a few tenths faster than stock which was about equal to the kaaz.
