Ben!

When you say this, is it less of the "on/off" switch of the Cusco? This is one of my issues with the cusco, it is very touchy in the corner and it makes it easy to lose your rear. It engages and disengages with a thud and quickly, I believe a smoother transition would be beneficial.
Try the friction additive first and see if it helps, if not we can set back the lock up to 75% or install an OSG.

I'll put it this way. I am removing my Cusco because I can't drive my wife or a client in the car without them asking "is this thing broken?" It doesn't just make noise, the entire car shudders, pops, squeals and shakes. It's better when the car is warm, but it's not all gone.

I am replacing with an OSG.

The Cusco performs wonderfully at the track and reasonably well at the auto-X.

Ian,

Resend if you can. I'd love to check out that LSD. I've driven the KAAZ unit which I also like, but it's hard to tell in a paddock...

Beautiful Ben!
Thank you

I am doing product testing soon for Carbonetic. They are sending me two units, one will be a 1.5 going in a 750 Hp turbo car as well as a bit of fun in a T-3 prepared S2000.
The other unit (a 2.0) will be going into an S2000 being built by Honda. The car and race teem are being prepared to compete in Formula- D drift.

I will post pics of the two builds as well as feedback on it's performance.
I am sure a lot of you guys seen and read the Feb. Grassroots article on LSDs. I had a hand in the work for that as well.

As for the Quaife LSD in the pics above...The best words to describe it is Rock solid!!!!
The rear feels amazingly tight and gives you a feeling of total confidence. When I drive the car with this rear setup it feels to me like I can throw anything at it and it will take it. It is smooth and quiet in operation and is totally daily driver friendly.
The rear is still being broke in and is too new to be put through the pace
