Default making cr wing work

Has anyone tried just the cr wing and found any benifits. I have searched and it seems the consensus is that its too low and doesn't have enough adjustments. I am not looking for the worlds greatest wing but the cr one doesnt seem too bad in price. Has anyone tried raising it up to see if it gets more effective. I want a wing purely for the track something that wont see any street duty. If there is another wing that i should be looking at thats cheap let me know. I am trying to keep up with an sti and an evo at our track events up here, i figure this will help.

I wonder if you need the behind-the-seat cover to be most effective...

The CR wing is definitely effective. It's most effective with the hardtop on. If you have the top off, the tonneau covers help.

Some higher mounts will make it more effective theoretically speaking

There is 0 adjustment on the wing. To run it higher would require custom mount brackers completely. Ive run it on my S2000 with the S2000 CF lip both. The CR wing doesnt seem to be as effective as the high GT wings ive used. Just my personal experience.

I mean can you link the sources? Or at least tell us what they are if they are not on the internet?

Until I see some actual evidence, I'm going to have to take your statement as a proof surrogate. I would hope that Honda did some engineering on this, but I'm not going to just jump to that conclusion because someone said that someone else said that they did. I wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars on this level of confidence.
