Great videos! I'm fighting the urge to do Bengalis set up. I could add splitter, small wing and NT01s and be at 6.5pts for relatively small money.
Everytime I rack up what I want vs what he is doing with what he has I realize his setup makes a very compelling argument.

However I am too JDM and the needy louis-vuitton gucci bitch in me wins over and I end up buying something expensive. :'(
El. Oh. El. I know what you mean. Everytime I wash my car and it looks pretty, the thought of putting a wing back on doesn't sound so great. Brian I might be interested when your ready to sell, I'd just get a spare trunk. What wing are you going to get?

I would probably have the trunk available too, which can be wrapped flat black. I'm going wingless with a front splitter to be the first person to do sub 2:00 with only front aero

I still need to look at the data, but I'll probably end up with an APR GT-250... with custom end plates of course.

Yeah it was fun! Too bad I had to drop out early due to fuel starvation with 2/3rd of a tank coming out of sweeper. Lap times were close all day, with only 0.477 seconds separating Mike, Dustin, you, and me. CCW was really fun though and I can't wait to go back.

There is already someone trying. There was a Laguna Blue S2k with a splitter and no wing running at BW. I bet that was fun in riverside.

Cheating. No aero allowed.

Not if it's front aero only... That only increases the anal pucker factor. Even more front grip/turn-in and no rear aero to balance it out...

If anything, I'd think that adding front aero without anything in the rear to balance it out is worse that running full stock no aero at all.

Assuming it is tuned right (read: BIG swaybar) it should be faster. It's somewhat difficult to achieve the type of neutrality I've experienced in the winged cars without the aero bits. My biggest gripe about my current setup is that there is still some slight understeer which deviates into momentum-killing oversteer when trying to correct mid-corner. I'm learning more and more that the initial entry is more important than I thought when it comes to no aero.

Unfortunately I don't have the skill yet as everything happens so fast and I'm learning that the little things speak volumes more in the cars reaction in this form. I got to drive CCW at CVR for the first time yesterday and it taught me a lot. I didn't do so hot but I didn't have much rear pad and couldn't get too many laps in. I still think I left a lot on the table.
