Mmm, coilovers
Krazik,
Are the Ohlins (the ones posted on Comptech's site) streetable on the softer settings? Is that the setup you have or have you upgraded the spring rates?

[B]I would highly recomend the Ohlins.

I have a general coilover question about longevity. Do you have to replace the dampers every 20K or so miles? Is there a rebuild kit (seals, valves, etc.) to "fix" them? I would hate to have to spend $2000 every 20K miles to keep them fresh.
I am now considering getting in on 4IGs Buddy Club group buy. How do they rate in the grand scheme of things? They have 10K springs, which seems pretty damn stiff to me. Anyone know what the stock spring rates are?

Gernby, it looks like you want a performance setup, rather than something just for looks...
IMHO, 10K is **WAY** to stiff, especially for the fronts, even with uprated shocks. It also doesn't have the front/rear bias that most stock and tuned aftermarket setups have. I don't know how good of a shock Buddy club makes, but their spring rate choice makes, IMHO, their engineering suspect. Maybe on a track-only car super stiff rates like that might make sense.
Some data points:
Stock rates (pre '02) are 218/291.
