I would try a saner or Gendron sway bar, I thought that they'd introduce much more understeer, but I really like the confidence I got out of my Gendron bar. I have it set one hole from full soft and am running stock springs on my Penske's

Sometimes you don`t need a heavier rate, just a better spring. The Japanese springs tend to run a little softer than quoted rate. Our ERS springs fit on the JIC units. We have a ton of rates available in that free length and ID. Plus, you can get them just about anywhere. Sorry, this isn`t a sales pitch, just another option for you.

George, our cars are similar, but not the same. Perhaps you'd like to run a few laps in my car on the 24th/25th and see what you think. I should have the 500/550's in at that time. 380's in now. Gendron bar on second stiffest/Koni yellows. Same tires. Same supercharger.

Hey Skip,

Those are the rates I am thinking about. Thanks for the offer, let's see how the event goes. I imagine Monday will be better than Sunday for evaluation and testing stuff.

I am sure I need more spring, but also better dampers too. Sigh, it's just more money right?

And I think you have a wee bit more HP than I do now.

Stocky.

I went with the V3 KW dampers, 550ftlbs front and rear. No chance to test them yet.

^ I think the KWs are 515 lb/in but close enough...

BTW, so far, I REALLY like the KWs. for a street suspension, they work really nicely despite their very stiff springs.

TEIN race supsension is 18 kg/mm front and 20kg/cm in the rear which is wayyy stiffer than the KW or Spoon setup

So, what makes you think that Tein puts the right rates on their cars?

Did you try anything with the KW's yet. I just went with the suggested rebound/bump settings so far.
