Default Motorcycle Racing School...

Hey just wondering if any of you guys track your motorcycles besides your car...

If so have you guys done the kieth code school?

I'm very interested and would like to get some feedback regarding their program.

Here's a link to people who don't know...

http://keithcode.com/

I'm thinking of attending the Oct 22/23 at streets of willow. It's 395 with your own bike, and 595 using their 636 ninjas.

I took his school, level 1 about 3 years ago. I wouldn't recommend it. Go to Primore's school instead.

I can't comment on his school, but I found his books to very helpful and it made a world of difference in my riding technic.

Have you ever done a M/C trackday in the past? That's a good chunk of coin for very little track time and lots of classroom time IMHO.

Maybe post this in Bike Talk instead?

I did Keith Code in 2001, level one, I found it very helpful, his methods are different and hard to follow in the book, but in the classroom and track environment they really clicked for me.

That said I never tried any other school. Its a bargain compared to the car schools, a lot of the lessons work in any motorsport.

i was planning to do the level one and level two during those two days.

sounds like i can learn from this. it's not too expensive considering they let you use there 636 ninja's too. just bring your own gear...

i guess i will try this out, thanks guys.

by the way, where is that other school located? Primore? you have any more info regarding that?

One of the owners in Torrance/Southbay Area is a Motorcycle instructor, I think he does some track type instrucktion too. His Name's Jimmy but I forgot his screen name. You should make a post in Socal.

I did the Freddie Spencer school in Vegas and that was one of the best investments I have made.

Definitely recommend it to start. From there you can start doing trackdays and 1/2 day schools.
