Default NASA TTC Track Record - Barber Motorsports Park

Here's my track record lap from Barber Motorsports Park with NASA Mid South. Despite the scorching heat, I managed to beat my TTB track record with the TTC setup. This is the first year I'm running in a lower class but development is going well. The car was faster at NOLA Motorsports Park also. I've only been to 3 tracks this year but was lucky to reset track records for each track. NCM Motorsports Park was the other one. I hope to make it out to Road Atlanta with NASA Southeast later this year to see if I can dip into the 1:36's in TTC trim. Hats off to Deft Motion, SujaOne Motoring, Papaya Motorsports, and Grams Performance & Design for their continued support with the car.

New Advan RZII's with sticker Hoosiers. There weren't enough in class for tires so I didn't run them at Barber. Stayed on scrubs all weekend.

Mafia shot featuring Rob Oxford, Joel Morrison, me, and Chris Tuttell.

That's impressive considering how the S2000 really isn't competitive in PTC/TTC. Well done.

Thanks!

I had some old scrub A6's (225/40/17) left over from a couple of years ago that I wanted to use before they dried out. There weren't enough in class to win tires so I didn't run the sticker tires. I'd like to go back in October and try to get into the 39's with cooler temps and fresh rubber.

You still have another shot in October. I think most of us will be back for that event looking to go quicker when the heat index doesn't touch 110F.
