NC Miata Bar Install

I considered that, but wasn't sure if that would create a new clearance issue with the endlink to the lower control arm. Once I saw that the contact went away with less than half an inch of suspension compression, I figured it was fine as-is. But okay, I'll try that... thank you!
* EDIT *
Okay, yes; that works much better.

700 lb springs and contact was made with my JRZ's. It produces a deep "clunk"
I'm not an autocrosser and switched back to my OEM bar (previous owner used the NC bar) and have to say the car felt significantly better with the larger rear bar. I think if you're using this bar and shorter than OEM length shocks you need to space it away from those mounts.

A few people on Facebook were asking so I'm bumping this thread with some pictures. These mounts with bushings were $15 and I was able to re-use the S2K end-links. Just flipped them for shock/coilover clearance.
I'm using mine in conjunction with a Karcepts FSB on my AP1 and love the ability to rotate the vehicle now without it feeling as twitchy as with the AP2 rear bar.
These brackets are from the Energy Sway Bar kit at O'Reilly's. These you don't have to elongate the holes and they come with small washers. I did replace the bolts for slightly longer ones and use a different larger washer up top. Probably un-needed but still.
Thickness of the spacer is exactly the same as the stock NC Bracket and this bracket. Easy to make out of some Home Depot material.
So much room
The clearance is great now. I don't have any clunks or clicks now. I do also have the HKS Single so it has an extra diff mount exhaust hanger which is just tricky to work around.
