Need advice, getting setup up for a track day
What's you favorite brake fluid?
I used to like Superblue in my NA 93 MR2.
Do you guys use MT-90 for the transmission. I liked that also in my MR2.
I noted last track event that 1st-2nd shifts could be notchy if one wasn't thoughtful.
Doesn't MT-90 help with any notchiness?
Any other things I should think about?
Having the ELDA bar put in tomorrow!
Thanks much...

Superblue is good, and so is Motul 600 which I use. MT-90 actually makes shifts more notchy when cold (i.e. street use) compared to stock fluid, but much better on downshifts on the track when driven hard, so it's a choice of which you want to optimize. Get an alignment and again, how aggressive you go depends on street vs. track compromise. Go with a track-only pad for the track and switch back to stock for street rather than compromise. R-compounds (and shave them) will make the biggest improvement in laptimes. Now that you will have the Elda bar, a racing seat (easy to switch in and out for track days) and harness are highly recommended to get the most out of having a rollbar.
Depending on your track, 1-2 shifts could not be an issue. It certainly isn't on my track (Nurburgring) and I have no problem with ATE SuperBlue and SS brake lines.
still searching for the best pad material though.
