:agree:
CDV does almost nothing, combination weak pressure plate and heavy flywheel are the issue.

I was able to modify my driving to suit the CDV. That being said, my stock clutch has 105k miles on it, so I'm thinking its about time to replace it (and the whole system).

Matchings revs really extends the life of your clutch, esp. when driven hard.

Ameer, take a quick spin around the pits in my car tomorrow

ACT Heavy Duty PP, ACT street disk, ACT flywheel (~9 lbs), CDV delete.

Zero slip. Chirps tires on hard 1-2 shifts.

I'm at about 60k miles and counting on the setup.

Sounds good looks like we can give that a shot! Thanks Mike! Do you remember what the entire bundle cost? (not including labor)

FWIW, I too bought a MY04 that had 32k on it. The clutch is fine but when at track and 20 minutes into the session, the clutch wants to slip in 3rd and 4th where the gears are tall. I changed CDV, it feels SLIGHTLY better grabbing in 1 and 2nd gear but has made no diff. in the slip problem. Mine only occurs when everything is good and warmed up. I never ham fist gears or clutches either.
