I learned that the hard way, I truly do not like these tires at all. I am planning on going back to the Nitto NT05 in the future, which I really loved on my corvette. My only issue is that I would need to run AP2 sizes, which I am really not keen on doing quite yet. I plan to burn off the rest of the hankooks then possibly move onto the MAX performance dunlops that I have read good things about in ap1 sizes. I do not want to change too many things at once, so I can get a feel for how they are affecting the car piece by piece.
NT05 aren't so hot. Hot Rod and Tire Rack did a test of ZII, RS-3, Rival, RT615K, Pilot SuperSport, RE-11, and NT05 around Tire Rack's autoX course. NT05 was dead last by a pretty big margin

Dunlop ZII were quickest, for a street/track tire, that would be my first choice. Available in AP1 sizes

Very good to know!, the last time I looked up reviews and specs on these tires it was not that far off.
