At $20 I would have bought this already. At $200, I honestly don't see $190 of functionality more than Trackmaster already offers. Can someone explain why this is so much better than what I am already using? I get 10hz GPS updates, video recording, auto start-stop, etc. Don't get me wrong, I am excited about a Solo II specific data logger for android, and as someone who builds Android apps, I understand the desire to charge what you think the app is worth, but it's hard for me to justify the purchase cost.

the app definitely looks good.
but does it worth 10 times price premium is another question.
without trying it i don't know the answer of course.
i see that aLapHD does things you describe - but those functions are pretty useless on phone's 4" screen.
so the immdediate conclusion that all such apps sould be used on the big screen tablet with a bright screen that gives good picture at sunny environment - then the benefit those apps provide will be much greater.

Not saying $200 isn't a fair price for a datalogger, as historically, that would've been a steal. However, with the new mobile apps available, I don't see why this one is over $190 better than existing options. (And that $190 could go towards tires).

If you think about the dollars-to-speed ratio, $200 is still a heck of a deal. $200 is one street tire (or part of a Hoosier ).

I looked a bit more at the analysis feature (side by side video), and that feature looks pretty awesome. I still think $200 is high, but it does look like they have built a very nice point-to-point racing analysis app.
