My previous oil cooler was mounted just in front of the intercooler. This one is a bit longer and will not fit in the same location. Where did Rylan and you mount yours? How about some pics please?
Well the cooler is mounted right where your intercooler is likely mounted.
Chances are you'll want to mount it between the intercooler and the radiator.
I dont know if you have any room there to do that tho.
One thing you might try is to mount the radiator at an angle with the lower part sitting further back. That should give you some room to install the oil cooler behind the intercooler.
Thanks Dave. I think I'll end up mounting it right in front of the intercooler again. It will we need some additional bracing, but I think we can make it work. It gives the car an odd buck-tooth look, but oh well.
If I mount it in the same spot as the previous, it leaves a good 3 inch gap between the oil cooler and the intercooler. Here's a pic of the previous oil cooler. The new one is the same width but about 3 inches taller.
