Default Mishimoto Oil Cooler mounting

Hi, Just installed my mishimoto oil cooler and did not mount it the way mishimoto instructs to. Im using the trackforged turbo kit and also deleted the oem oil cooler so the sandwich plate sits closer to the block to where I have to mount the sandwich plate a certain way without the 10an fittings hitting the block. This is how I ended up mounting it on the driver side instead of the passenger side. Anyone ever had problems with the oil cooler mounted upside down? Should I get 90 degree fittings instead of the fittings that came with the kit also?

Mounted upside down causes air to get trapped at the top leaving little space for oil.

If you mount it sideways, plumb it so that the oil goes in the bottom and comes out the top. This flow direction pushes the air bubbles to the top instead of the bubbles fighting the flow and potentially blocking some of the channels.

Here's how I mounted my Mocal oil cooler.

Remember the PTUNING kit is a low oil pressure system seperate from the engine's oiling system that doesn't need to worry about air bubbles due to the design.

what is everyone's opinion on horizontally mounting an oil cooler, or vertically?
