PCI Mounts question
i am looking to mount my seats using PCI adjustable mounts, for a seat that won’t need adjusted after it is set is this the way to go? Is there a cheaper option that does the same thing? The only place I see them is direct from PCI @ $215 each.

The PCI mounts do work but they could be improved upon. Making your own is always an option if you have the means.

I have the PCI and waited over a month for them causing me to miss a couple events. It was the only thing that I could get to fit an Evo2 on the drivers side. If I had to do it over again, Id have one custom made. Its a great piece though if you have the patience to take the seat out over and over again until you get it just right.

I have a Sprint and an EVO to fit.
It looks like there are less expensive options available on EBay. They look to be pretty much the same as the planted, I would just need to then find side brackets. I am thinking that as a fixed adjustable with no sliding mechanism they should all be about the same as long as they fit.

The PCI fixed comes with side mounts that work on the Evo.
I run this setup. Yes, it does suck to get everything to fixed in place and adjusted, especially if you have an inseam around 30". Any shorter and it's probably not going to work as the seat won't slide any further forward.
It also sucks that you can't easily allow others to drive your car if they are pretty different than you size wise, but the Evo itself will be a barrier for that also as it's not a big seat and the belt holes are pretty low. I have the seat as low as it can go, as far forward, and as far right with a Ballade bar, and am 5'7" / 5'8" with a 30" inseam. I am basically the max torso height to allow the belts not to rub on the top of the holes with this setup (belt angle is good though). I cut the right side of the seat, removed the trans tunnel padding behind the carpet, and the seat still has left an imprint in the door. I also wish it'd go forward another 1/4 to 1/2".
You might also have issues getting to the front right seat mount bolt, I ended up using a button head there. Thinking about it over time I might figure out how to come in from the top with a stud and tighten a nut on the underside of the car, but that's probably a destructive action (though I've obviously drilled holes for the sub mounts and right side lap anchor anyway so whatever).
Also, you need to bolt in your left side lap eyelet / snap the clip on / safetywire or cotterpin it / and sandwich your cut up stock belt mount before you bolt the seat rail in, there isn't enough clearance. Cotterpin your harness clips before you bolt the seat in, it's a pain otherwise.
Anyway, take this for what it cost (nothing).
