I'm currently using a PCI mount with a slider and a Sparco Circuit seat. What's to test?

Slider. Although I'm planning on removing it for two reasons, get 1/2" - 3/4" lower and no one else is driving the car.

PCI has been working on a few different types of mounts an side mounts for use without sliders actually. I have been thinking about moving to fixed seats as well and they have a few different type of side mounts and even some new base plates for better clearance on some setups.

The D/S PCI mount could still be improved upon. Sub belt mounts being one area. As short as I am, the side mounts extend past the front of the base. The bottom of the seat hits the base before the seat gets low enough.

Yes, PCI has mounts for use w/o sliders. I'm not sure I understand your point.

my point exactly, we would like to get something to have wider seats sit LOW and be able to slide. Also the seat belt bracket is something we would like to have integrated with the low base plate.

They have recently (mid to late last year) designed new baseplates to address these exact things. They actually have different bases depending on whether or not you will be using sliders (without sliders being significantly cheaper), and their most recent ones are designed to be able to get the rear of the seat lower than the previous iteration, especially if you aren't using sliders. They unfortunately can't fix your shortness (or my tallness) however. But as a 6'2" person I would like to politely laugh in delight at your short person issues in an S2000.

I am not sure how they are supposed to address the sub belt issue for short people though? Not really sure where else the sub belt mounting points could be, maybe some could be added right at the front of the base? Schroth actually recommends sub belts to be mounted vertical down from groin or preferably 20 degrees back and around 100mm apart. So they seem pretty well placed for most uses?

I chose to drill the chassis for sub belts, the PCI ones are too far back and I didn't like the idea of mounting them to the seat mount anyway.

I don't know if I have the newer base, but the side mounts end up over of the front right bolt so you need to use a button head bolt, clearance the side mount a bit, and use a cut down 90* allen. I'm 30" inseam so the seat is all the way forward and right. I have no complaint about the seat height, the back is about 3/4" off of the floor so I stuck my Greddy EMU down there.

Without removing my D/S seat or the PCI mount just yet, I took a look at removing the sliders and I don't see how I can make it work w/o the sliders. My PCI side mounts are going to extend out over the base where it mounts to the OEM seat mounting position. This is easy with the sliders, this won't be so easy without the sliders.

Ideally yes, I want to drill the chassis for my sub-harness eye bolts, for now they're staying on the PCI mount until I can come up with another solution that I'm comfortable with without using the sliders.

Short guy problems.

I use the PCI fixed based adjustable mount with the Sparco Ergo Medium seat. I sit lower than stock slightly (inch maybe) and recline the seat slightly to further lower my head position. Works perfectly if your 6 - 6'3 in height in my opinion. You cannot slide the seat further up anymore due to hitting the trim on tunnel unless you modify the seat by cutting side flares.

I plan on installing 6-pt scroth harnesses soon but will be drilling for the sub belt and tunnel side mounts. Drilling between the fuel lines will be fun lol for the one subbelt mount location.
