Default Proper toe specs

Could someone share some light on the most optimal setting for front and rear toe on an s2000 with -2.2front camber/-2.7rear. 255x4. No wing. I believe the front toe should be 0, but what about the rear. Im on ohlins 13k/12k with a 1" drop. Thanks

Its really driver dependent. i usually run 1/16 total in rear and 0 front. Ran it with and w/o a wing.

I like ~0.15 to 0.20 degrees total rear toe-in (0.065" to 0.087" total). I tried the high end of the AP1 spec at the rear, 0.6 degrees or 1/4" total when I first started tracking it, it sucked for everything, and rear tire life was *short*. I've gravitated toward minimal rear toe on all the cars I've tracked. On a couple of occasions with the Z and the S2k I wondered where the handling and "fun-to-driveness" went at the track, then subsequently found that alignment had slipped out of adjustment and given me more rear toe. Rear toe: the less the better. Though I don't think I'd try negative...

Typically the AP1 needs more rear toe-in and like sowd says it comes down to driver preference. I tried low rear toe but found the stock AP1 value was best for me and my AP1.

To clarify he meant .20 toe in max in the REAR. Zero toe up front.

My AP1 is stock, hence I have a lot of suspension movement at the track. With high initial toe-in, the handling is very nonlinear as it increases under compression and decreases under extension. It does a lot better for *me* with minimal static rear toe.
and like sowd says it comes down to driver preference.
Yeah. My mechanic on the FD tried to convince me I needed more rear toe-in for that car due to high(ish) horsepower. I contacted Hoosier and they pretty much said "driver preference", so I run 0.1 degrees total on that car (many run zero rear toe-in on the FD).

I tried low rear toe but found the stock AP1 value was best for me and my AP1.
"Stock AP1 value" is a very large range, from ~0.3 degrees to ~0.6 degrees total rear toe. I initially tried the high end per recommendations on these forums when I started track the S2k, and it was in my experience kinda weird-handling. And my rear VictoRacers were corded after ~3.5 track days
I got it realigned in the interests of getting more track miles and asked for the minimum end of the range, 0.3 degrees total or 0.15 degrees per side. But they gave me 0.15 degrees total. Not gonna lie, I was worried given the nonlinear and sometimes sketchy handling at my first couple of events with the car (compared with my much sweeter handling 240Z). But lo, 0.15 degrees total was not only manageable but gave me much better responsiveness and handling linearity without hurting stability in the slightest. And rear tire life more than doubled.

Agree that it can be "driver preference", but for me working the rears against each other continuously isn't the best use of the rear tires! Personally, I love the car at 0.15 degrees, not so much at 0.6 degrees...

I haven't found a shop that does it in inches in a long time.
