Default Quick sway bar question

I currently have a karcepts bar up front which helped alot during autox but I'm not trying to build a autox car.

So the question is do I need that thick of a front sway bar on the track or is it only autox? If not that means I can save some money and sell the karcepts and buy an eibach or MODDICTION

Thank you guys!

What wall size do you have?

Swaybars vs springs is all about how much compliance you need in the suspension.

If you don't run on bumpy lots/courses then you can use more spring and less bar.

Let me know when you want to unload the Karcepts bar and I will swap you my smaller Moddiction bar.

To answer this question we need to know what is your rear bar, what are your springs, do you run a square set up or not, and since your are going to be on the track, do you have any aero mods.

A stiff front bar is very important, in my opinion, if you are running a square setup on the track.

Stock rear bar, kw v3 515 f & r, square, have a Jsracing type 1 / voltex type 2.

If I can get away saving one or two hundred by going moddiction instead of karcepts more money for tires.

What are you goals for the car? Technically you don't NEED anything to have your car out on track, but if you have an idea or better description of how you prefer your car's overall balance or behavior on track (along with other components to your setup), perhaps I or others here can be of more help.

My very first sway bar was the saner/modiction bar. Compared to the Karcepts bar, piece of junk. They will start to clunk real bad, I've had bolts back out and the mount separate, and they are an absolute pain to adjust. This isn't even about paying a couple more thousand for shocks. This is about paying a couple hundred more for something with much better quality and engineering.

You get what you pay for...

I would keep it. It is a better bar than the saner/moddiction. And how much would you really save after selling the Karcepts and buying a Moddiction? 100? 150? 200? Then account for new end links- because the moddiction ones will fail.
Don't get me wrong, I have a Saner and I think it is great. It made a huge improvement. It was one of the best mods for the $$$. I think you would be making a mistake downgrading. That bar is ridiculously heavy too.

Got it! Not worth the downgrade. Guess I'll have to shave down my kW v3 brake line brackets since they are in the way of the quick adjustment part
