I just ordered a pair of rear autoX tires. Tire Rack is out of 245/45's and all they had was one pair of shaved 265/45's. Since I needed the tires I took what was available but I've never run this size or shaved tires before. The tires are taller than I want and I know it will be hard to heat them up.

Any ideas on who these tires will work? I know several people have run the 265's. How much life will shaving take off of them?
