Cool!
How wide?
Can you also fit a Recaro Pole Position?

Just a little bit wider... maybe .5 of an inch. I'm sure with some other modification I could go even wider than that. It would require me re-welding the bolt locations on the left rail.

A side note, a Recaro SPG with this rail weighs in at 23.3 lbs. (All hardware and brake clip) Pretty hot for the price.

Does it rub the door? Can you still open the center console?

Does not rub the door, about a finger gap, can also open center console all the way as well, no rubbing. Very S2k friendly.

We use the same seats, same rails. I'm 6'2, 220 lbs fits perfect

Taitec or j's is the best for the spg.
Where can i get Taitecs? Scienceofspeed is the only place i can find that has them, but it says 2000-2005. I just want to make sure that they're compatible with 2006-2009 as well. I guess the best way to find out is to contact them.
Get the Nagisas. http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/n...-p-108390.html

It's a J's / Taitec but without the center section. This allows you to fit wider seats than even the SPG. Also, these have better side brackets. Taitec / J's are a month or so out to order from Japan. No one has them... believe me... I checked. Nagisas can be found because no one knows about them.

I have a Nagisa with an SPG and I love it. Very nice rail. Ironically, even came with the shiny green knobs that the Taitec rail has on the slider controls.

Cool, thanks. Wish you had posted this a bit sooner. All good, i'll just call up and see if I can get my order with SOS cancelled. I don't want to have to wait 1 month for some rails.

I have a lightly used driver side Taitec rail sitting here for sale if anyone wants it. It took about 6 weeks to get here from SOS and was used in my car for about 4 months. PM me.

Out of curiosity... for those who have a bucket that does not recline... do you miss being able to recline the seat? I am concerned more with adjusting the seating position than I am about being able to access the behind the seat. How many use a fixed back bucket for daily driving (any long trips)?
