Talked with Sparco tech support today and he indicated the EVO II will fit, the EVO II US would be to wide for the S.
Research continues, keep it coming!

I know it's not FIA certified, but the Corbeau FX1 Pros I have now fit great, have more hip room than the sparcos with the same footprint, and have less intrusive shoulder wings. They do have a mounting post for a seat back brace though, so you can use that in lieu of the FIA cert in most organizations.

Do you think the FX1 (non-pro, next size up from the Pro) would fit?

I doubt it, there's basically no hip room left with the Pro in. That said. I'm no tthe smallest guy at 5'9 185, 34" waist and I do a lot of lifting so I have good sized thighs and glutes. I fit in the Pros with room to spare.
If you fit in an S2000 seat normally, the Pros should fit you fine; you'd have to be really big to need the standard FX-1, let alone the FX-1 wide. I sat in a standard once a couple years ago when I was about 10lbs heavier and 2" bigger waist and I was swimming in it.

Great info, thanks!

The Evo 2 non US is a sweet seat!! Prob the widest you can squeeze in the s2k, I sit all the way back and removed the rear interior panels, otherwise it would rub HARD. I decided to go with the fighter for slightly better fit in the car so my brand new Evo 2 is listed for sale here
So to sum up, I agree that the Evo 2 may be at the max width to fit into the S2K. But as Boyguan said earlier (and I paraphrase), due to different seat designs, the max external width seat does not necessarily have the max internal width. While the OMP seats have the lip on the outside, I don't think that is unique to OMP because the Sparcos have it too. I think OMP does a good job of maximizing internal width given the extrnal dimensions of the seat.
If anyone needs some dimensions as taking from an actual seat listed above, PM me.

I'm definitely in for more information about the FX1 Pros. Car is only used for weekend drives and HPDE...no competition or TT of any sort. I've got a 36" waist and am 6'1". I'm most concerned with sitting as low as possible. I'll be using stock seat belts and OEM hoops. Can anyone comment on how low these seats can be mounted, and on which rails? I understand the provisions for bottom-mounting the seat prevent it from being able to drag the carpet like a pole position, but I'd hope that it would still be significantly lower than stock?
For rails, I was looking at the BC, Nagisa, or the Ballade.
Thanks for any info!

I picked up a Recaro SPG last year and installed it over this winter with Ballade rails. I look forward to trying it out on track next month when the tracks open back up.
That looks really good! And I'm not just saying that because I know you.
Haha, thank you. I've driven it on the street a few times... I can tell I put on a few beer pounds over winter.
