sounds definitely interesting!
how did your test go with the ET800 pads?
I'm wondering which compound to get along with my current front setup:
Spoon caliper, 2-pc rotor, Pagid R29 pads
Thanks!

i think it's just bad timing. people spend a lot for christmas. if it was a month before, or maybe a month after they probably would have gotten many more orders.
anyway, i placed mine. hopefully can get it in a couple weeks in time for the next track event.
also, they didn't bump their ad the ENTIRE time. as soon as i replied, another person posted. i think it fell past the first page in a few days.

there were at least 10 people who were definitely interest in the rear BBK and at least 2 for the front BBK.

The ET800 has a little more torque then the ET500, but still not suitable for heavy track use on R-comp tires. should be fine for street tires though.
Ferodo, Performance Friction, EBC???
not sure what experience with other brand brakes you have...
or data you can get hold of...

i've only used Carbotech XP8, XP10 and Hawk DTC30 in the rear.
the ET800 have less torque then all of the above pads. they do have good cold bite but wears quick when over heated, when pushed over the limit with R-comp tires.

Yes, RacingBrake.com offers the 12.9 x 0.7 inch rear big brake kit:

I'm running the old +1 kit from MPG & RacingBrake in the rear and it's freakin' awesome. My rear brake pads last forever and rear hub temperatures run about 200 degrees cooler which is great for bearing longevity.

Is there any reason why we can't just buy the brackets from RB and then fit similar 1 piece rotors on vs. buying expensive 2 piece rotors?
These right here are 307mm x 15mm supra rotors. You're losing a few mm thickness which i don't think would be an issue since you're still getting a bigger diameter rotor overall. The bore is a bit off too but that can be machined.
