Hmm, I've had my ZII's on the highway and they were not loud at all.
Heh! My 3YO granddaughter noticed when I switched from ZIIs to the winter all-seasons. "Nana, did GPA change the tires?" Musta been the sound difference...
haha thats awesome. or maybe she noticed you were going faster around turns and getting home faster

They feel great and predictable... I've only had ZII's now for a month but have had 2 autox's on em and the highway driving to and from and they have more grip noticeably. I'm curious to drive the ZII's in the rain since I loved how the re11a's did.
i had a chance to try out the ZII's in an event. i must say they handled pretty well totally blew my expectations on how much grip it still had in the wet.

All 4 tires from the tire rack comparison link above (BFG, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Yokohama) are limited to 255 width 17" tires on on Tire Rack. Anybody know if there is a source for wider fitments, or if they even exist?

i think anything wider than 255 for street tires are not common application for 17 inch rims.

Nitto makes a few 17inch tires that wider then 255. NT05's for example in 275/40ZR17 98W or 315/35ZR17
