And he's gonna sell that on this site, right?....
I would suspect so; Harold knows where his customer base is...

This potential customer of Harold's got tired of waiting for Harold's hitch, and had a hitch fabricated locally....

New tire trailer manufacture now advertising in SCCA Monthly Mag. I'll edit/update this post when I remember to bring ad to office. It is all Alu & light and will carry four wheels and your tools. Looks good in ad. Mfg. is Super Sport trailers, LLC www.sstrailers.com. In ad the pic shows trailer standing up on its box for neat garage storage.

Tire Tail Update. WNY auto-x gruru 1asumS has been using one for over 2 years without incident and loving it. No extra plates to get or garage space being used up.

I use two pipes mounted vertically to transport the wheels. I use a clamp to keep the wheels from bouncing off the top of the pipes. The wheels fit and are already flat for storage. I have upgraded to 12" rims and have 3 of the 8" rims if anyone needs them. I will try to post pics.

Just had to adapt a tire trailer for V710 225's and 265's.

Used 2" pvc and U bolts. ( <$15 )

The pvc on box is optional, I added it to keep it off the hinges as I noticed some indenting of the tires from the sharp edges on box. It's also been left longer than needed as I am thinking of strapping the pump sprayer externally to save room in the box.

the bottom pvc is u-bolted to an existing angle iron that was welded previously to hold some victoracers.(225/245)

Just a word of caution about planning to have the tires protrude a bit below the plane of the trailer top. Both my Toyo RA-1s (255/40-17 rear; 235/45-17 front) and my V710s (275/40-17 rear; 245/45-17 front) extend beyond the outer frame rails when placed side-by-side. So I bolted a plywood base onto the trailer, and I built a simple cradle for the tires above the plywood. I strap the tires on the bottom (to the trailer) and the top (so they don't splay), and also strap fore-and-aft. They don't move.

On test fitting, the V710 265's and 225's fit with room to spare.

these pvc tubes allow the tires to sit above the plane of the trailer top, so they essentially are able to use the entire space between the fenders.

When I strapped them down, it all seemed pretty solid.

But, would still like to see photos of your solution in case this doesn't work out.

thx.
