Road Course coming to Ky
agreeable, it may not be a profitable venture for the first couple years but after that its all $$$ other than maintaining things, dont get me wrong I'm glad its being done I'm just concerned with the whole members only part
There is a course here local to us in the Chicago area. Its called Autobahn Country Club. It too is a private course, and was started in the same way this one appears to be. It is almost always available for rent on select days of the year etc. Plenty of clubs like SCCA, NASA, and many other privare clubs and schools rent it for days, and it usually costs the normal 150-200 a day like most tracks. I wouldnt be suprised if this track does something similar. Obviously we cant all be "members" =0(
I actually sent them a message and they were more than willing to hear my opinions. they want me to come up with a sort of outline for just such people that could only afford an annual fee and not the initiation fee. This will include pricing and a number of days available to the said member.
So I'll ask you guys what you think would be fair. To be an exclusive member its $11500 initiation fee every 8 years and $1200 per year. What would be a viable yearly fee and how many sessions should be included, reasonable offers will be considered upon my final outline of the contract to be sent to them.
