I know of a group that runs at watkins glen and you don't require a rollbar for it.

^does it depend on what event you are doing? i can understand it being strict for TT and such, but things like HPDE or PDX doesnt require as much.
In my experience, upside-down cars are more frequent in HPDE than in wheel-to-wheel racing. That may be a skewed sample (19 race weekends; perhaps 30 HPDE days), but don't underestimate the danger of roll-over accidents in HPDE.

I'm now contemplating on selling my Cusco 4 point roll bar. It's brand new and still sitting in my garage.

It's getting extremely difficult to take the S2000 out to track events

Yea, i didnt realize this would be such a problem until now. I was hoping my s2000 to be a weekend warrior car and convertible during the week.

However, it is very difficult to do all this and maintain a decent looking interior. Hard dog is great and all, but only if you remove everything, or you'd have to cut the heck out of your interior including bulkhead.

I wouldn't count on it. It seems that the tracks here on the east coast are far more strict than the west coast. I see pics of guys on the track out there all the time that don't even have a rollbar. Hell, I've seen pics of guys on the track with the top down.

I wish the cusco/safety 21 bar would pass over here but I don't think it does.
