I've got one of the GFL touring bars in my garage, brand new in box. If anyone is interested in it I can make them a good deal. PM me if interested.

So if I'm *not* running harnesses, I can run with a roll bar that doesn't have a diagonal, no?
Correct.

Thanks! Haven't run SCCA autoX (any autoX) in years, but would like to have the option...

Geez the more I look the more issues come up. So I found a GFL bar and am going to buy it. Seems as though my hardtop latches will have to be modified which sucks, especially considering I don't even have my softtop installed anymore so I'll have no choice in the matter... unless I put the softtop back while I'm putting the rollbar in.

Anyone have a rollbar that clears the hardtop stock latches, apparently it's impossible? Looking at a friends install picks of his custom one it doesn't look doable either.

I have the Bitterman bar and it APPEARS that the hardtop latches will clear the bar. I'll take pics if you want. BTW, the bar is for sale if you are interested

wing,
You will love the elda if you can find one. Slight mod to H/T latches needed. Still fits and pops on & off in miniuts. Since elda bolts to car it is scca stock class legal. Just know that you have added 50lbs of steel and raised the center of gravity to the car. Welding bar to car is not stock class legal. Being able to run with most HPDE schools & x-tra protection= priceless.

Do a little more research. Similar, but not the same. Turned out the GFL bar doesn't quite fit with the stock 3-pt belts. If that's an issue to you....
