Yes I realize the GFL will require some modifications in order to use the stock 3-pt. From what I have found searching it is only the belt guide that needs to be relocated to the bar. I was going to just get that welded on and was going to leave the stock rollhoops off the car. But I will leave the bulkhead to keep the reels mounted in the stock location.
tinkfist, is your bitterman bar a Hardtop version or a softtop version?

wing,
You will love the elda if you can find one. Slight mod to H/T latches needed. Still fits and pops on & off in miniuts. Since elda bolts to car it is scca stock class legal. Just know that you have added 50lbs of steel and raised the center of gravity to the car. Welding bar to car is not stock class legal. Being able to run with most HPDE schools & x-tra protection= priceless.

do you know if they will be exact Elda bar duplicates?
When i called on the 8th, Tom [hard dog/Bethania Garage] told me that he had a few GFL bars for sale [at a discount & ready to ship.]
He also mentioned had refined their design [that's GFL's] to make it "more like the Elda design" and did modify thier geometry to accomodate the OEM roll-hoops & belt-anchor-point. He also says that there is at least a two week wait for new orders to ship.
I just returned from picking up my bar from Tom in Bethania. He was a great guy to deal with and had a very nice shop. I purchased one of the GFL bars that is not compatible with the factory roll hoops. Note the additional brackets to accomodate the factory seatbelt upper mounting point.
