Nah, in recent years it's been dominated by one or two really well prepared E36 M3s and 240Zs, with an angry gaggle of C4s nipping at their heels

The only BSP car here is a 350Z and he usually beats me by 2 seconds. I am running ASP now, but next year am moving over obviously.

First of all, pardon me for my ignorance on the subject.

I was wondering if someone could answer a question for me. I have lowered my car with KG/MM Supersport springs and Koni Yellow shocks. I recently went to an autocross and I am very sure that this is something I would like to do next year. At the same time, I am very happy with the looks/performance of the car in its present state so I am not interested in returning it to stock height to compete in BS. I am also planning on getting a set of 17in. LE28N's and have a few other mods in the works. Could someone list for me what mods are legal to compete in ASP with my MY02?

I am aware that I will probably not be competitive at a local level, let alone at a national level. This, for me, will be all about having a whole lot of fun with a car that I can also mod to my personal tastes with no false hopes of becoming the next national champion.

Thank you for your help.

Step #1 - buy a rulebook. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Generally, no internal engine mods. Somewhat limited external engine mods. It's the suspension that you get to modify. Be careful lowering the car - too many geometry issues unless you're going to fix those, too, and you'll need to check the rulebook to see if that's allowed.

Build it acording to the rules, not the other way round...

Until your rulebook arrives, (they're only about $15 and come with a PDF file on CD-ROM as well) read up at http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/
