correct, you'll be fine. you can fix ballance issues with suspension & alignment setup.
If your car oversteers a little more because you have more weight in the front you can fix it w/ setup. Not to mention most of the weight of most of the turbos I've seen would be between the axels.

intercooler is the only thing with weight sticking out in the front of my car, I'm going to be in this thread a lot more, I'm preparing my car of GT Live next year

toofast4yall - great write up!! much appreciated as I'm going to the track next week and wanted to put my car through a diet before I go. So I'll definetly be following along the steps u provided.. Question tho... How much weight did you save from removing the interior carpeting and such?

This thread has been dead for a long time now, but I have a question. What is the best way to get to the SRS unit to remove it? I can't fit my hand where it needs to go to disconnect the wiring harness from the SRS unit.
