Anyone run before/after 0-60 and 1/4 mile times? If you reduce around 300 lbs of weight you should improve your acceleration times by roughly 0.3 seconds right?

sspicollo8 - It's called weight distribution. With a lightweight exhaust and the trunk completely gutted, I have very little weight over the rear wheels. When my gas tank is below 1/4 tank, my weight distribution is nearly 53/47. I can get it back to 50/50 by removing 25 pounds from the front end and adding 25 pounds to the rear end. The weight will sit lower, and it will be almost directly over the rear axle. This will give me better braking and quicker turn-in because of the lightened front end, and more traction out of the corners because of weight over the rear wheels. A couple pounds of 4-guage wire is nothing compared to having a 50/50 weight distribution again. You've never built a track car have you? Also, if I want to put the passenger seat back in, how will I do that with a battery there? Occasionally people do want to ride in my car.

CBRE - Waiting on A/C weight. Your scale is more accurate than mine so I'll defer to you on the A/C system.
