Since the MR-S has a custom turbo kit that is NOT CARB approved why was it still in street class.

The rules do state that the car must be legal to drive on the road.

Am I reading too much into this rule?

Didn't the Vishnu Evo blow up at American Touge 1 as well. The had to get a civic to replace it for the contest.

I'd go with Robispec or some other good companies that has proven lap times at time attacks for EVO tuning...

I personally interviewed the drivers at American Touge 2 about the evos and either Kazama or Tsuchiya said he has never driven a 4wd that turns in as well as robispec....all the while on full tread R comps where the vishnu was on hankook semi-slicks...tsk tsk tsk

I've seen Vishnu customers post dyno graphs on the internet to show off how BIG their TOOL is but at the end of the day what's a big tool if it keeps 'leaking' after 2 minutes on the job? or have a warped head?

=)

Just my observations.

wow.... you guys are apes. we were on 255 RA1s (NOT SLICKS). Probably the skinniest tires in the 4WD class. Not only that, it was a full street car. No interior missing, sunroof, front and rear bumper beams. Zero weight reduction.

Its surprising you guys feel the need to bash other peoples cars.

Like I said before, I can't wait to see one of your S2000s with my near stock evo at a track day. Should be fun.

Seeing as the topic of conversation has shifted completely to Evo/Evo-bashing, this has to be one of the funniest car videos I've ever seen:
