I agree...which is why I brought this up in the first place. There is no lack of places to eat, no matter what tastes run to, so we should try to plan a meeting place and then figure out dinner plans. Assuming we'll all be in LV sometime on Sunday afternoon, if not earlier, then Sunday evening should be doable.

Besides Jim and his wife, is everyone else staying at the Excalibur?

Erik...what do you mean tenuous? This whole thing was your idea...it would suck for you not to be there

Strike and I are driving side by side on the 15 from LA. I promised the dude I would pick him up from the airport... and given his generosity... he has allowed me the cot in his room. For this I pay good money!!

Erik-
It would be a shame for you to miss out on such a wonderful opportunity. I'll donate ludedude's bed...lol. The more the merrier.

Dinner Sunday evening is a great idea. If we go expensive and dressy, I recommend Morton's. If we go casual and relaxed, any buffet will do.

That leads me to yet another question... what is the appropriate dress for racing? Blue jeans okay or sweats? Type of shoes matter or not? Will they provide racing suits? helmets? Guess I'll be calling Michelle to get the answers.

Damn Erik, that really blows. I sincerely hope you can work it out as it would be great to hang out with you again.
