Ditto Chris! It's probably 80% driver at school events.

As experience is gained, the car is the star.

Coral - the only time I passed the supercharged white M3 was in a mad dash to grab some 110 nitrofuel I bet him to it! Ha Haa
Besides that - he smoked me - even with the race gas.

I was keeping good times against the twin turbo S4 in the morning - passing him, but it was tough - after the 110, it felt like the stook picked up about 10 horses (the ECU wasnt dialing the timing back as much??). Later he did blow his turbo seals.
Most of the other production cars were pretty easy. Lots of NSXs and the like. I had a blast! I got some of ya'll on film when I had the camera turned backwards. Those shots look the coolest, even when I spun.

Hope to see you guys at Sebring in December!

Guys...
Sounds like ya'll had an absolute blast. Wish I could have been out there.

Maybe I'll have a chance to meet some of you at the Dragonball Run. (Check out the thread).

BTW, I love my AVS tires as well but in the mountains I found that my tail was coming out faster than S2Ks with S02s.
Our compound is definitely harder so they last longer. It's a trade-off...

cheers

You're absolutely correct Chris ... and Allan. I have a long way to go, but it sure is fun in the steep part of the learning curve. I'm reminded of a great Jack Nicholson line - to paraphrase: The S2000 makes me want to be a better driver .

ZoomZoom -
PLay with your tire pressures - it makes a HUGE diff on our cars. I run 36F 34R and the rear sticks

ContachPatch,
I'll try that for the Dragonball Run...

What is your tire pressure normally set to?

On the street I run about 2lb more than the track set-up b/c of the lack of heat
