Sakebomb Garage Wilwood Track-Day Brake System Review
#62
So I have had the kit for close to a year and I thought it would be apt to post an update on the kit. I ended up replacing the pads after 24 sessions from DTC-30 to DTC-50 in the front and HT-10 in the rear. This eliminated all brake shuddering I was experiencing and the car simply brakes better. I don't run any ducting and haven't experienced any fade whatsoever. I could've probably done another 4 sessions on the rear pads and 8 sessions on the fronts, but I decided to replace them together. The rear rings still look mint, and there's so micro-cracking on the front but nothing that catches the nail yet. The rear kit seems drag slightly for some reason. I have tried a couple of sets of calipers, including a remaned set and I have had the same issue. Pictures below:

What tires and tracks are you running?

I have 400-450 track miles on my front/rear set-up.
DTC60 x 4
R888 245/255
No ducting at all.
Zero fade and will be starting off the season with everything intact. Just took apart to inspect and back together (Sorry no pics). I will be running different tires this season but look forward to more great braking all season long!
