I am thinking of using the Saner bar on the softest setting with 235/255 RA-1's (17's). Any guesses on if this will feel neutral? If RA-1's come in a 275 rear I may consider using them instead of the 255's. Comments please...

If you're autocrossing, the soft bar and wide rears may well cause more inside wheelspin due to the body roll (narrower tires let go sooner while the wider tires (relative to the front) will cause more body roll). The harder settings help prevent the roll but will combine with the wider tires to induce understeer, Depends on your driving style, experience and venue...

I would like a rear adjustable sway bar. Are there any out there?

I don't know why there would be. It would have to be smaller than OEM, and it wouldn't even be legal in BS.

Thanks everyone for their input. Is there any confirmation to the rumor about fatigue Gernby mentioned abouve? How long has Saner been making his S2000 bar. If Krazik's comment is correct, and I have no reason to doubt him, Saner should know what materials to use.

Monkeymaker, if you find the data you mentioned, it would be great if you could publish it.

I got onto the MR2 Spyder forums when I was considering buying one, and never got off of them when I got the S2000. Saner's pretty much their default (only?) choice for autocrossing swaybars -- they're oft recommended, many Spyder owners have them, and no one that I've seen has raised any issues about their durability.

I received my Saner bar last week, but haven't had a chance to install it yet. It's a beefy piece, as are the endlinks. Some instructions would have been nice for the torque specs, but I guess I'll just use the stock specs and see how it goes. The retaining collars -- do they go on the inside or outside of the brackets?
