Default SCCA Solo STR Question

Does anyone know where to get concise information regarding legal wheel/tire applications for the STR solo class? I want to upgrade but I have checked the SCCAs website and found that their latest regulations were updated back in 2009...just a link will do or if you have personally upgraded wheel/suspension for STR I would love to hear what you've discovered. Thanks

To be more precise, you are only limited to a 9 inch wide wheel, and any offset as long as you don't change the profile of your fender trying to make a wheel fit. The diameter of the wheel is not prescribed.

There's 181 pages of discussion about STR builds/rules, a number of which a dual purpose street/track cars.

And 255 or lower width with 140 treadwear or higher tires. Other than that you can do whatever you want.

If you want a very good track and autocross setup, the simple answer is get some 17x9 +60-63 wheels all around with some 255/40/17 tires, the hankook rs3 and dunlop star spec being the most popular at the moment.
